🏔️ Mount Emei Mount Emei, standing in the southwestern part of the Sichuan Basin, is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, a national scenic area, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site, and a World Heritage site for both nature and culture. Its main peak, Wanfo Top, is 3099 meters above sea level. From the foot to the top of the mountain, there are cascading waterfalls and flowing springs, and the scenery is serene. It has long been known as 'Emei the Beauty under Heaven'. ⛰️ Main Attractions: ☀️ Baoguo Temple At the foot of Mount Emei, it is the largest temple on the mountain and also the gateway to climbing it, serving as the starting point for a visit to Mount Emei. ㅤ☀️ Fuhu Temple One kilometer to the left of Baoguo Temple, across the Tiger Stream's three bridges, is Fuhu Temple. The temple buildings are hidden in the dense forest, hence the name 'Fuhu Hidden in the Dense Forest'. ㅤ☀️ Hongchunping Surrounded by mountains and lush forests, with fresh air, Hongchunping is the best summer retreat in the mountains. The misty forest haze floats around, and the early morning mist and drizzle in the hot summer are known as 'Hongchun Morning Rain'. ㅤ☀️ Wanfo Top There is a copper temple built here, and from the side of the temple, you can observe the four wonders of the Golden Summit—sunrise, sea of clouds, Buddha's light, and divine lamp. The most magical is the 'Buddha's light', which can sometimes be seen when the wind is calm and the sun is bright, usually after two or three o'clock in the afternoon. Looking down from the Sheshen Rock on the Golden Summit, one may see a colorful halo floating in the clouds with their own shadow in the center, moving with the person without separation. ㅤ☀️ Wannian Temple Wannian Temple was originally built during the Jin Dynasty and contains a beamless brick hall with a bronze statue of Samantabhadra riding an elephant that is over one meter tall. ㅤ🏃🏻‍♀️ There are two conventional tourist routes for Mount Emei: 1️⃣ Jieyindian → Golden Summit → Huazang Temple → Woyun Nunnery → Wanfo Top → Leidongping → Wannian Temple → Qingyin Pavilion → Heilongjiang Plank Road → Emei Skyline → Baoguo Temple; 2️⃣ Enter the scenic area from the entrance of the Emei Mountain Individual Visitor Service Center. Take the scenic area shuttle bus at the Leidongping parking lot, walk 1.5 kilometers to Jieyindian, and then take the Golden Summit cable car to reach the Golden Summit at an altitude of 3077 meters. ㅤ🎫 Ticket Prices: Full price 160 yuan/person, half price 80 yuan/person 🚠 Wannian Cableway: 65 yuan/person for the ascent, 45 yuan/person for the descent 🚠 Golden Summit Cableway: 65 yuan/person for the ascent, 55 yuan/person for the descent ㅤ💝 Tips: 1️⃣ For visitors with limited time, it is recommended to take the cable car to the Golden Summit and then walk down the mountain to enjoy the sights along the way.
