#mytraveldiary Visiting Holyrood Palace and Abbey in Edinburgh was like stepping back in time. The palace, still used by the Royal Family, showcases stunning architecture, elegant rooms, and fascinating history at every turn. Walking through its halls gave a glimpse into centuries of royal life. Just beside it, the ruins of Holyrood Abbey were hauntingly beautiful, with their weathered stone walls and open sky creating a truly atmospheric scene. Surrounded by the dramatic backdrop of Arthur’s Seat, this visit perfectly combined history, culture, and breathtaking scenery, a highlight of my Edinburgh trip.
