Takefu Central Park: The Green Lung of the City

The history of Takefu Central Park dates back to 1952 when it was developed as the venue for the first "Takefu Chrysanthemum Doll Festival." Over time, the park has evolved to include sports facilities such as tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a gymnasium, as well as cultural facilities, making it a comprehensive public space. In 1971, the park officially opened to the public, and in 1978, a Ferris wheel was added, establishing it as a landmark attraction in Echizen City. The park's design philosophy is to create a space where people of all ages can relax, play, observe, learn, and enjoy.
