#timetotravel The Durham Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral built in the late 11th and early 12th centuries and it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located at the heart of Durham City Centre and right by the River Wear, it is definitely something not to miss when you are visiting Durham. As a Norman-style Romanesque architecture, you can find loads of massive pillars in the Durham Cathedral, connecting the arches and the ground, which makes the Cathedral majestic and magnificent. As a graduate from Durham University, Durham Cathedral truly has a place in my heart, as both my matriculation and graduation were held within the Durham Cathedral.
