Super useful tips for 5 days in Dumaguete

📍Trip overview: Mainly Apo Island 🚩Route: About 30 minutes from Dumaguete Airport to the city. Motorbike taxi 250 pesos. Taxi 500 pesos. City → About 30 to 40 minutes from the port to Apo Island. Taxi 1000 pesos. Motorbike taxi 600 pesos. Port → Apo Island is about 30 minutes by boat. 🏖️Photogenic spots: Only Apo Island was visited. 🚇Transportation: Motorbike rental 500 pesos per day. There are many motorbike taxis, but few taxis. 📷Recommended photo locations: Only Apo Island was visited. 🍜Exquisite cuisine: Not sure as I didn't look for it in particular 🏠Recommended accommodation: If you are mainly going to Apo Island, I thought a hotel near the port would be good, but there are no restaurants, so you will mainly eat at the hotel. There are only small hotels, so if you are mainly looking for food, I recommend a hotel in the city. 💡Notes: If you value food, we recommend a hotel in the city. The tour to Apo Island was 6,200 pesos for two people, including transportation from the city, boat, lunch, snorkel guide and rental set. If you rent a motorbike the next day and go on your own, it will cost 3,600 pesos for two people for the same content as the tour.
