It is said to be the sculpture with the most pearls inlaid, and it's simply too beautiful! Along the way, we saw various sculptures made of pearls, the largest Tridacna shell, and a simulated scene of ancient pearl diving. Chen Ge said that in the past, people would dive for pearls with just a tube and a rope, which was very dangerous 🤭 Then came the most anticipated part, the experience of opening shells to collect pearls. It's part of China's important agricultural cultural heritage, the 'Deqing Pearl System'. We harvested quite a few small pearls and chose the prettiest ones to make jewelry. It was a very fulfilling experience~
