|2-Day Hot Spring & Snow Play Guide 👧❄️We took our child to Xiling Snow Mountain at the end of the winter vacation, and it was such a fun family trip! Playing in the snow and soaking in hot springs, both adults and children had a great time. Here's a super detailed guide! 🚗Itinerary Day 1: Huashuiwan Hot Spring Hotel → Relaxing Check-in and Leisure Time We drove from Chengdu 🚗 and arrived at Huashuiwan Hot Spring♨️ First Village in about 1.5 hours. We chose a hotel at the foot of the mountain, which cost around CNY 300–400 per night, offering great value for money. There are various small shops and delicious food nearby, and we could take our child for a stroll and enjoy the food in the evening. We went during the Lantern Festival, and there were fireworks. Day 2: Xiling Snow Mountain → Snow Carnival 🚗It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Huashuiwan to the scenic area parking lot. 🎫Ticket Prices: • Scenic Area Ticket + First Cable Car (Yuanyangchi) + Shuttle Bus (Yingxue Square): CNY 240 • Second Sightseeing Cable Car (Riyueping): CNY 160 • Free for children under 6 years old or under 1.2 meters tall 🛠️Equipment: Make sure to prepare hats and gloves for both adults and children to keep warm! You can buy raincoats, shoe covers, and snowboards on the mountain, which are cheap and convenient. Snowboards cost CNY 5, and raincoats cost CNY 9.9. Play Route 1️⃣Yingxue Square: After entering the scenic area, take the cable car to Yuanyangchi, and then transfer to the shuttle bus to reach Yingxue Square. This is a snow kingdom for children, with an ice and snow park, panda snow world, banana boats, and various snow activities that keep children entertained. You can also have lunch at the square's restaurant, which offers affordable prices. 2️⃣Riyueping: Take the cable car from Yingxue Square to Riyueping. The pristine forest is covered in snow, and the rime and snow are breathtaking. You might even encounter cute squirrels. We had been there before, so we didn't go up this time. Playing in the snow at Yingxue Square was already super fun for our child. 🚠Cable Car Travel: We arrived at the scenic area at 10 am and took the cable car down the mountain at around 2 pm, without having to queue at all. Previously, when we made a round trip in one day, the queue was overwhelming, so a 2-day trip is much more relaxing.
