|Perfect place. Shanhuasi, also known as Nansi, is located at No. 6, Nansi Street, Pingcheng District, Datong City, Shanxi Province. The main buildings are arranged along the central axis from north to south, gradually unfolding and rising layer by layer. The front is the mountain gate, the middle is the Three Saints Hall, and the rear is the Daxiong Baodian of the Liao Dynasty, which is located on the high platform at the rear, with the east and west duo halls on the left and right. The east side is the Shuge ruins, and the west side is the Puxian Pavilion built in the second year of Jin Zhenyuan. Except for the Heavenly King Hall (Mountain Gate), Three Saints Hall, Daxiong Baodian and Puxian Pavilion are Liao and Jin buildings, the remaining side halls and bell and drum towers on both sides are Ming and Qing buildings. The murals of Buddhist stories during the Kangxi period are painted on the two walls of the Daxiong Baodian, which are all worth careful observation.
