So, with a longing for the wind, flowers, snow, and moon, I embarked on a 4-day trip to Dali. Come along with me! Transportation Guide: After arriving at Dali Fengyi Airport, you can easily reach the city center by airport bus, public transportation, or taxi. Renting an electric car is a great option for exploring Erhai Lake. Ride along the shores of Erhai Lake. Recommended Itinerary: Day 1-2: Dali Ancient City - Erhai Ecological Corridor - Xizhou Ancient Town Day 1: Morning: Stepping into Dali Ancient City is like traveling back in time to the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom. The city gates are majestic, and the ancient streets and alleys crisscross within the city. The bluestone slab roads extend beneath your feet, and the traditional Bai houses line the streets with their upturned eaves, brackets, carved beams, and painted rafters. Stroll through the city and experience the passage of time and the charm of history. Afternoon: Arrive at the Erhai Ecological Corridor, rent a bicycle, and ride along the corridor. On one side is the sparkling Erhai Lake, with its azure waters shimmering in the sunlight. On the other side are lush green fields, and in the distance, the Cangshan Mountains stretch in undulating waves. Day 2: Morning: Take advantage of the tranquility of the early morning to stroll through Xizhou Ancient Town, admire the architectural style of the ancient town, including the ancient Sifang Street and Yan Family Courtyard, and experience the wisdom and diligence of the Bai people.
