Dali's sunrises are perfect for those who love to sleep in. I've seen countless sunsets, but rarely sunrises, simply because I can't get up early enough. This time in Dali, I'm staying by Erhai Lake, just a 2-minute walk from my homestay. With the sunrise at 8 a.m., I'm finally getting my fill of these breathtaking mornings. The dawn light over Erhai Lake is picturesque! As the sun gently rises from behind the Cangshan Mountains, the lake's surface is instantly gilded, as if time itself slows down. My heart finds tranquility in this moment. A trip to Dali isn't complete without witnessing a sunrise!
