Daisen's Temple Daisenji

#Must-see historic site Daisenji Temple 大山寺 Daisenji is an old temple that started as a hermitage with a grass roof in 718. During the Heian period, it was the stronghold of the Tendai sect in western Japan, but during the Meiji period, it declined rapidly due to the anti-Buddhist policy. The long road to the temple gate is now lined with shops of Sahachon, and when you enter the temple gate, the scent of the forest permeates your body. The small stone Buddhas lined up along the road have blurred expressions, and the wood grain of the main hall is old. This place, which can be visited during the course of climbing Mt.
