Europe within Vietnam: Ba Na Hills Theme Park

Ba Na Hills is a theme park located at an altitude of 1,478 meters. Due to its high elevation, the temperature here is slightly cooler than in downtown Da Nang. Originally developed as a summer retreat for French soldiers, it has gradually transformed into a theme park. If you visit during the summer, you can enjoy a beer festival and even get a free glass of beer. The atmosphere feels inspired by Germany's Oktoberfest. I visited Ba Na Hills without high expectations, thinking it would feel overly artificial. However, once I arrived, I truly felt as if I were traveling in Europe. Perhaps that's why you often see Vietnamese couples taking wedding photos here. The park also features rides, with the most famous being the rail bike, which allows you to enjoy scenic views while riding.
