ROCKY MOUNTAINS, AND COLORADO SPRINGS

Rocky mountains Yesterday had the opportunity to travel from Glenwood Springs to Denver, passing through the Rocky Mountains National Park. The total journey takes 6.5 hours, with the scenery along the way dominated by the mountains and the Colorado river. The California Zephyr train departs from Glenwood Springs after a long journey from Emeryville and will be heading to Chicago as a final stop. Booking tickets from the Amtrak app the day before, for 89$, including expensive because even then you get a seat at the lower level, usually the normal price is around 47$. During the trip we can enjoy the view from the observation coach, and are given 2 hours to hang out and enjoy the outside view. The areas that are passed are areas in the middle of nowhere, the cellphone signal is also not affordable, so what we can do is enjoy the view while accompanied by snacks sold in the canteen (the canteen does not accept cash, only cards).
