Berber Ecomuseum.

There is definitely some confusion here about these two museums. I visited the Écomusée in Ourika, which is just off the road going to the Ourika Valley waterfall. This place is the original home of a tribal leader who united the three tribes living in the valley. It is connected to the Maison de la photographie in Marrakech. The guide we met was friendly and very entertaining. He was a font of knowledge and his style brought the history to life. He gave us an overview of the Berber culture and traditions which are sadly being wiped out. On display are original everyday tools, utilities, hand woven rugs, jewellery and photographs. You really get a sense of how life was lived during those times. #historicculture#themeparks#beautifulsunsets#museumquest#naturalwonders#culturalattractions#camping#hiking#deserts#infinitypool#themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes#beaches
