Big Views & Forest Feels in Hwangjangsan

#summervacay Finally tackled the summit of Woraksan and wow, this one’s a beauty. The trail is a bit of a leg burner, not gonna lie, but totally worth every step. It kicks off with forest trails that feel super lush and peaceful, tons of shade, birds chirping, and that perfect earthy smell. As you climb higher, it gets steeper and a little rocky, so yeah, prepare to sweat a bit. But the views just keep getting better and better. The summit? Absolutely stunning. Full panoramic shot of mountains on mountains, with rivers and villages sprinkled in way down below. It’s one of those “I can’t believe this is real” moments. Took a long break at the top with some gimbap and tangerines, solid summit snack combo, btw. The breeze was perfect, and the clouds were just floating by like they were on vacation too. Woraksan’s no joke, but if you’re up for the climb, it seriously delivers. Nature therapy at its finest.
