#summervacay Hwabuk-myeon in Chungcheongbuk-do? Total hidden gem. I had zero expectations but ended up wandering into one of the chillest nature zones I’ve seen in a while. You’ve got big boulders randomly chilling like ancient giants, forested hills with that soft spring green, and this crystal-clear stream weaving through the whole scene like a postcard come to life. One spot had this gigantic rock sitting majestically like it owned the place, felt like something out of a Ghibli movie. There’s even a bridge with great mountain views on one side and a quiet river bend on the other, perfect for slow walking and zoning out. And let’s not skip that wide rock pool with emerald water. I swear it whispered, “Take a dip,” even if it was clearly roped off. It’s not touristy, which made it even better, just nature doing its thing without the crowds. Perfect spot for a mellow hike, sketching, or just soaking in the vibes. Bring snacks, stay curious, and wander slow.
