Chongqing is a city that never fails to impress! Upon arrival, I hopped into one of their famous yellow taxis—nicknamed the "Yellow Ferraris" for their speed and thrilling rides. Checking into the Hong Ya Dong area felt like stepping into a comic book, with its glowing, tiered architecture creating a magical atmosphere. Street food along the 81 Liberation Monument was a treat, offering bold flavors and local specialties. The next morning, I embraced tranquility at Lao Jun Mountain, a Taoist temple with breathtaking river views. The hike up was refreshing, offering a serene escape from the city's bustle. In the afternoon, Long Men Hao Old Street was the perfect place to unwind—sipping tea, indulging in local delicacies, and reflecting on life’s moments. As night fell, I took a peaceful riverside stroll, ending my day with a chilled Panda Beer and some more street food. Of course, no trip to Chongqing is complete without trying the legendary hotpot—spicy, intense, and definitely not for the faint of heart!
