Khao Bang Sai Temple

#VisitSecondaryCity Wat Khao Bang Sai is very beautiful. I must say that you should not miss climbing Khao Bang Sai to pay homage to the Buddha's footprint and the reclining Buddha on his left side. This mountain is home to Wat Khao Bang Sai in Chonburi. It is an ancient Buddhist site since the Ayutthaya period and was abandoned for a period of time. The temple was rebuilt again during the reign of King Rama III, and was renovated again during the reign of King Rama V. On this mountain, there is an important ancient site, the Phra Phutthabat Pavilion, which enshrines an ancient Buddha footprint and is an important place of worship for Chonburi. Khao Bang Sai must have been the sacred mountain of the city since ancient times because it is located near the ancient city of Si Phlo, where traces of ancient sites and many artifacts have been found (some of which are kept at Wat Si Phlothai).
