Iceberg Ridge (Part 2)

Iceberg Ridge is located at the border of Chicheng and Guyuan counties in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. The main peak has an altitude of 2211 meters, making it the highest peak in Bashang. It faces the Laozhanggou Primitive Forest Scenic Area from east to west. The surrounding area of the scenic spot is characterized by high mountains and long rivers, a wide variety of plants, dense vegetation, and blooming flowers. The alpine meadows and dense forest peaks complement each other. The name Iceberg Ridge comes from the fact that the snow on the mountain top does not melt all year round. Iceberg Ridge is known for its coolness, strange rocks, blue sky, and white clouds. During the hot and unbearable months of July and August across the country, the highest temperature at the mountain top is only about 18 degrees Celsius, making it cool and pleasant. Even under the scorching sun of summer, there is no sense of heat, making it an ideal place to escape the heat. The various strange rocks and peaks of different sizes showcase the effects of the Quaternary glaciers and the craftsmanship of nature. The azure sky adorned with white clouds looks like exquisite brocade, making people feel delighted and relaxed.
