The key feature of the Reserve is their selection of the rarest and most extraordinary coffees Starbucks has to offer. This impressive outlet has 5 floors : - Starbucks Reserve Coffee Bar at lvl 1 - Princi Bakery & Cafe at lvl 2 - Experiential Coffee Bar at lvl 3 - Arriviamo Cocktail Bar at lvl 4 - Roof Terrace at lvl 5 Overall, they offer an extensive menu ranging from seasonal favourites, sparkling beverages, salads, pizza, sweet and savoury pastries, their signature coffee blends and entrees too ! During this pit stop break during my solo trip across Chicago, I was also taugh to learn and fully appreciae each Starbucks Reserve coffee by following the four recommended steps : - SMELL Cup your hand over the cofee, hold the mug close to your nose and inhale - SLURP Slurp to aspirate the coffee across your entre palate and let the flavours come to life - LOCATE Where is the experience of the coffee on your palate ? Consider the weight, sensation and texture across your tongue - DESCRIBE explore the bredth of sensory language and choose the worlds that describe your coffeebest. Each cuppa coffee is characterised by the aroma, acidity, body and flavour of the coffee. A simply awesome experience that you never would have encountered otherwise. While at the Reserve, do admire the architecture, and the impressive 56 foot steel cask, the main centerpiece of the Roastery. It is a sculptural bronzed coloured cask where coffee beans are laid to rest and de-gasted after roasting. After our coffee break and snack, it's time to move on !
