Learning about the planets

In Grant Park, the Adler Planetarium (1930) is both a respected institution at the Museum Campus and a noble landmark in its own right. The planetarium occupies a nub of land sticking out over the lake on Northerly Island. you can go to the beach after the museum. By the water to the north is the Adler Planetarium Skyline Walk, blessed with the ultimate view of Chicago’s skyline.
