Chiang Mai's Baan Yam Roll Cafe - Where Trees and Architecture Harmonize

One of my favorite photos! The entire environment is absolutely stunning. The structure of the house perfectly frames the whole tree, creating the ultimate fusion of nature and architectural design! This internet-famous bakery recommended by Chiang Mai locals serves incredibly delicious Swiss rolls for just tens of baht (about 8 RMB). They also offer delicious Thai milk tea🧋 for around 55 baht (about 10+ RMB). The cafe even has a piano🎹 where you can sit and play. My friend and I were beyond excited when we saw it - we couldn't resist sitting down to play and take beautiful photos. The glass house creates a visual contrast between old and new, with retro-style decor inside. The pond is filled with colorful koi fish, attracting many locals who come to check in - it's a perfect spot for dates and relaxation. Located right by the roadside, this cafe is frequented by many Thai locals living nearby, some coming daily to buy desserts for breakfast. Founded by Chiang Mai locals, this cafe champions the "homemade" concept, with Swiss roll recipes originating from the owner's grandmother's traditional secret formula. The founder mentioned in an interview wanting to present "childhood dessert memories" in a modern way while preserving Chiang Mai's slow-living atmosphere (the name "Baan Yam" means "House of Memories" in Thai). My friend and I took a Grab from Tha Phae Gate for about 100+ baht.
