Sleeping in a tent is not difficult, there are complete bedding, shared bathrooms, clean, but in the village, there are only a few places with a phone signal, so you have to walk to find it, haha. If you drive here yourself, it takes almost 2 hours from Chiang Mai. Another way is to take a bus from Chang Phuak Bus Station, which is a big orange Chiang Mai Tha Don - Tha Ton bus with a fan. Get off at Lotus Chiang Dao and wait for a Chiang Dao - Muang Kong songthaew (there may be few buses, but if you meet a lot of friends while waiting, you can charter a car). Get off at the homestay.
