Chiang Dao

We spent an incredible day in Chiang Dao 🌿 just a short drive from Chiang Mai, but it felt like a peaceful world away. We started with the impressive Chiang Dao Cave 🕯️, exploring its cool limestone chambers filled with ancient shrines and natural rock formations. After that, we visited Wat Tham Pha Plong 🧘♂️, a quiet temple nestled in the forest, reached by climbing serene stone steps lined with wise quotes. The views from the top were breathtaking! 🌄 In the afternoon, we soaked in the natural hot springs ♨️a perfect way to relax after the hike and then made a quick stop at Sri Sangwan Waterfall, where we climbed right up the “sticky” rocks 💦. Everything about Chiang Dao was peaceful, scenic, and refreshing. If you’re in Chiang Mai and want a nature-filled escape, this day trip is a must! 🏞️🌸
