Encounter the jade-like Chengdu at this high-altitude hotel!

Hyatt has always been one of my personal favorite hotel brands. Compared to its more business-oriented style, the 'Hyatt Regency' offers a more individualistic charm, providing travelers with a more diverse perspective for destination exploration. Returning to Chengdu this time, even I, a local, was taken aback by this hotel. 👉🏻Chengdu Lanchou Hyatt Regency Hotel ⭕The hotel is located in the prime area of Chengdu's city center, within walking distance to Taikoo Li Chunxi Road, and as one of the tallest hotels in Chengdu, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the bustling city from both the lobby and the rooms. ⭕Beyond comfort, design is an absolute plus in enhancing the hotel's quality. As the name 'Lanchou' suggests, the overall style of the hotel feels as smooth and refined as jade. The walls are not the usual flat surfaces but have wave-like curves. Interestingly, each room in the Yipintang Jin Yan Chinese restaurant is named after the Chinese character for 'jade,' combining unity with elegance. ⭕The concept of jade is also applied to the color scheme, with inspiration drawn from natural jade stones and a low saturation palette that carries a natural and soft texture. The integration of traditional cultural elements (poetry, Sichuan opera, hibiscus flowers, bamboo, etc.) enriches the texture with a deeper cultural and regional connotation, and it's especially photogenic! I particularly like the jade stone by the elevator on the first floor, resembling a full moon, perfect for atmospheric photoshoots. ⭕The hotel excellently showcases another side of Chengdu's 'jade-like' character. Behind the spicy and vibrant food culture lies an elegant, reserved, and understated temperament. ⭕The hotel's Yipintang Jin Yan Chinese restaurant specializes in classic Cantonese and authentic Sichuan cuisine, with dishes that are complete in color, aroma, taste, and presentation, each one worth trying! Especially the tri-color tender Qiaoke fish, one of the four major freshwater fishes, with its fresh and tender meat, enhanced by the addition of red and yellow chopped peppers for an even more flavorful taste! ⭕The Yun Chu lobby restaurant's Friday and Saturday hot pot buffet at 298 per person is a must-try. Not only is the taste authentic, but there are also tomato and seafood soup bases available for those who can't handle the spice. The ingredients are fresh and abundant, including seafood, various meats, vegetables, and even 🦞 (and you can choose different cooking methods, too rolled!). There are also appetizers, salads, and barbecue available.
