Chengdu! A budget-friendly hotel worth revisiting

The Temple House in Taikoo Li is a garden oasis||This time in Chengdu, I chose to stay at The Temple House within Taikoo Li, part of the House Collective by Swire Hotels. I had stayed at The Temple House during my visit to Chengdu five or six years ago, but this experience was even better than the last! Plus, I happened to catch a BV afterparty at the bar, and it seems Qin Lan was there too, but unfortunately, I got back to the hotel too late to join in. I booked a 70-square-meter open-plan suite, but upon arrival, the hotel upgraded me to a 90-square-meter featured suite with a partial view of Taikoo Li. The room was quite spacious overall, and the functional areas were well divided, following the open-plan design language. It had everything necessary, but the lack of a guest bathroom was a bit inconvenient. The lighting in the washroom was very dim, making it hard to see my face in the mirror, and the water pressure in the shower was not strong. Aside from these minor issues, everything else was great, especially the bedding in the room, which was very comfortable. The room's minibar was also free except for beer and champagne, with unlimited refills, and they even offered unlimited chocolate and candy, just like The Upper House in Hong Kong. The service at the hotel was excellent, with staff members standing in every area to greet guests. The front desk lady who handled my check-in was also very enthusiastic. The Temple House in Chengdu has a kind of warmth that is not mechanical, unlike in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or major cities abroad? The hotel's dining was also good. The breakfast was semi-buffet style, which I highly recommend. The a la carte dishes were standard in taste, and the bar had a nice atmosphere. The room service prices were really cheap, the portions were generous, and the taste was good. I highly recommend trying it. There's no need to mention the location of the hotel; it's right inside Taikoo Li, the most central location in Chengdu. It's probably the best-located hotel in Chengdu, right? In summary, this hotel is probably the most worthwhile place to stay in Chengdu, and it might be the ceiling in all aspects, including price.
