The first stop on my Chengdu trip was a stay at the Shangri-La Hotel. The hotel is well-located, with the gallery bridge right downstairs, and it's not far from the Chunxi Road pedestrian street. Since the hotel has been open for a while, there were some minor issues during check-in, but the hotel's customer manager Yvonne handled them very promptly and appropriately. In fact, any service can have issues, but attitude is what guests truly value. In this regard, the Shangri-La in Chengdu has no problems. This is also why I have always favored Shangri-La. A very pleasant Chinese New Year holiday, a very pleasant trip to Chengdu. I will choose Shangri-La again for my next visit to Chengdu!
