It's like a trip to Tibet

Next to the Little Potala Palace is the Xumi Fushou Temple, the Panchen Lama's palace. It was built to imitate the Tashilhunpo Monastery in Shigatse. The first half of the temple is in the Han Chinese architectural style, and the second half is in the Tibetan architectural style. The temple is backed by high mountain slopes in the north and faces the north gate of the Mountain Resort in the south. The three-story Miaogao Zhuangyan Hall is very spectacular, and there is also a stupa behind the temple that is under renovation. This is also one of the more famous temples of the Eight Outer Temples in Chengde.
