Strolling around ~ Xumi Fushou Temple in Chengde

Driving from Chengde Mountain Resort to Xumi Fushou Temple in Chengde, also known as the Panchen Lama Palace, which is a few hundred meters away from the Chengde Potala Palace. The combined ticket price for both is 80 yuan. This temple was first built in the 45th year of Qianlong's reign (1780) to welcome the Sixth Panchen Lama from Tibet for the celebration of Emperor Qianlong's seventieth birthday, and it was specially modeled after the Panchen Lama's residence, Tashilhunpo Monastery. Xumi Fushou Temple is similar to Tashilhunpo Monastery in Shigatse, Tibet, featuring a strong Tibetan style while also incorporating Han architectural characteristics. The main buildings in the temple include the Mountain Gate, the Great Red Terrace, the Hall of Ten Thousand Virtues, the Glass Longevity Pagoda, and the Stele Pavilion. Xumi Fushou Temple is not only an important religious site but also a representative of Qing Dynasty architectural art, with extremely high historical, cultural, and artistic value.
