This Changsha hotel is a MUST-STAY!!!

Amazing stay at the W Changsha! When it comes to Marriott hotels in Changsha, the W is definitely the first one that comes to mind. Today, I'm sharing my experience staying at the W Changsha. Hotel Location The W Hotel is located in the Yunda Central Plaza near the Changsha Avenue subway station in the Yuhua District, adjacent to the St. Regis of the same brand. Although it's about a 20-minute subway ride from the city center, the subway is convenient, and there's a large shopping mall nearby, making it easy to meet basic needs like dining and entertainment. 💗Other tips: Convenient transportation, rich surrounding amenities, can meet daily needs. Check-in Experience I'm a Marriott Platinum member, and I was upgraded to a higher floor room upon check in and given a free late check-out. The hotel's interior has a unique nightclub vibe. The room was equipped with a large bathtub, and the city view from the higher floor was breathtaking. The overall check-in experience was great and met my expectations. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: High-floor room with good views and a reasonable layout. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The room has a large bathtub, and the amenities are in line with the hotel's positioning. Hotel Facilities The bar is located opposite the hotel lobby, and you can feel the lively atmosphere as you pass by. There's live music in the bar every night. The night I went, there was a beautiful singer, and her voice was very pleasant. Cocktails cost around 100 RMB per person, which is a reasonable price. Due to the bar's special location, in addition to hotel guests, there are also many outside guests, so it can get quite crowded. Their signature cocktails are full of Hunan characteristics, garnished with pineapple sprinkled with chili powder. Every sip has a unique spicy flavor, novel and interesting. There's an iconic W logo on the terrace opposite the bar. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: Excellent live music in the bar, unique cocktails, reasonable prices. Hotel Breakfast The W Hotel's breakfast is semi-buffet style, with a few simple egg dishes available à la carte. I highly recommend their specialty chili fried pork Benedict eggs, which are full of rich Hunan flavor. Breakfast includes Chinese and Western dishes, as well as a variety of fresh juices. There weren't many people dining, so the dining experience was comfortable. 💗Other tips: Breakfast has specialty dishes, and the dining environment is comfortable. Additional Services and Feedback The hotel concierge service was enthusiastic and attentive. They were able to promptly remedy any minor mistakes and listened carefully to guest feedback. The hotel's overall cosmic theme is quite impressive. Although there's no lounge, they offer two drink vouchers. High-tier members can also enjoy free ironing of two pieces of clothing, which is very thoughtful. They even thoughtfully sent a cake upon arrival. 💗Other tips: Good concierge service, unique services, member-friendly. Dining Feedback The hotel's dining is just average. While dining, I saw someone wearing a bathrobe. After giving feedback to the headwaiter, I received a reasonable explanation and could understand the hotel's difficulties. After all, guests have varying levels of etiquette, and persuasion may not always be effective. There's also the issue of food waste. Running a hotel is indeed not easy. 💰️Average cost per person: The hotel's calendar rate is around 1200 RMB. 💗Other tips: Dining needs improvement, the hotel handles guest feedback appropriately. Overall, the W Changsha is a very good W Hotel, and the calendar rate of around 1200 RMB is not expensive. If you're not insistent on staying in Wuyi Square and want to choose a Marriott hotel, then the W Changsha is perfect for those visiting Changsha.
