W Changsha, a trendy choice at W Hotel Changsha

W Hotel Changsha has multiple entrances, one of which is connected to a shopping mall. Guests can have a meal, take a walk, and then directly enter the hotel area, which is a nice design integration. The exterior of the hotel is quite imposing, with various W signs. In fact, each W hotel in different regions has its own unique W sign design. It may not be as singular as the Mandarin Oriental's fan, but it still has its own 'style'. The hotel's corridor is styled with gold and green, which doesn't quite match the dark nightclub style of the hotel lobby and elevators. After all, W has made its name in the luxury level hotels with its 'nightclub vibe', and losing that essence might not be too good, just my humble opinion. The interior design of the rooms, however, is quite to my liking, although the dark-colored male cat figurine was a bit startling at first glance. The swimming pool at W Changsha, equipped with a light show, is a 'feat' I have never seen elsewhere and in my opinion, there is no better pool than this one. The changing area is also generously equipped with all the necessary facilities. The breakfast is also good, offering a full buffet with both Chinese and Western options, and the variety is truly dazzling, making it hard to decide where to start... The view from the window is the only just so so, with building after building of residential blocks, which really doesn't live up to the name 'scenic view rooms'.
