Where and what to try? The conversation gradually shifted to gastronomy. We agreed that you can't leave without trying the hearty and delicious cuisine of the northeast (Dongbei). Top recommendations: dumplings (jiaozi), braised pork with potatoes, and wontons. For the best atmosphere and variety, try the Guilin Night Street Food Market or the establishments near Film Festival Square. Shopping and leisure: where to spend your money and energy? For souvenirs and local flavor, head to the bustling Chongqing Market. For global brands, head to the main shopping thoroughfares of Chongqing Road and Hongqing. For stylish shopping in an architecturally interesting location, head to The Hill. We also touched on the topic of relaxing after a long day of exploring.
