Tianjin - Changchun - Harbin 5 Days 4 Nights

Special Forces family trip at the beginning of the year. Round-trip flights from Hangzhou to Harbin were too expensive, so after some planning, we chose this route. In the end, the whole trip wasn’t very cheap either, but we checked in at several spots with the kids, haha. Everyone can use this as a reference. I saw that flight prices for February 2026 have increased a lot, so please travel rationally. Day 1 Transportation: 🚄 High-speed train (Hangzhou East - Tianjin South G178 9:48-14:52) Itinerary: Watch Tianjin Crosstalk at "Hulu Crosstalk Club" + stroll around the hotel area 🔔: Crosstalk tickets can be purchased on Maoyan 10 days in advance, same price for adults and children Accommodation: Tianjin Haihe Holiday Hotel (Tianjin Eye Branch) Day 2 Itinerary: Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, then head to Five Great Avenues, rent a cool four-person motorcycle on the street for a leisurely ride — Porcelain House — Zhang Garden Noon: Eat Erduoyan Fried Cake (Black Pearl) — Lion Forest Bridge, watch Tianjin elders diving Afternoon: Ice skating in Binhai New Area — take a boat at Daliangzi Ferry to feed seagulls 🐦 Transportation: Private car, 520 RMB/day, very convenient. Evening: ✈️ Tianjin - Changchun (Flight BK2730 21:00-22:50) Accommodation: All Season Hotel (Changchun Longjia Airport Branch) - hotel airport pickup Day 3 Itinerary: Changchun Ice and Snow New World (free luggage storage) 🔔: Be sure to buy a plastic sled for skiing, super fun!! It’s a bit more expensive inside the park, we brought ours back to Hangzhou after use, and it’s also great for grass skiing. Transportation: 🚗 Taxi Accommodation: Hyatt Hotel Changchun Day 4 (Harbin Day Trip) Hyatt packed breakfast - high-speed train to Harbin - Saint Sophia Cathedral - Central Street - Songhua River - Music Corridor Snowman Transportation: Changchun West - Harbin West (High-speed train G701 9:11-10:15) Harbin - Jilin (Bullet train 528 19:03-20:34, get off at Changchun) 🌟 Hope to come back for a deeper trip, also want to visit nearby Yanji and Changbai Mountain! Day 5 Itinerary: Jingyue Tan International Forest Park, very beautiful!! Tickets: Adults 30 RMB/person, children over 1.2m 15 RMB/person, after ticket inspection, buy sightseeing bus tickets for 20 RMB/person, unlimited rides, a must-buy, otherwise you’ll get very tired walking!! Transportation: ✈️ Changchun - Hangzhou (Flight CA1756 22:10-1:00) ➡️ Clothing and Gear: Non-slip snow boots, shell pants/down pants, neck warmer, hat, ear muffs, gloves, sunglasses (for snow glare), down jacket (short or long, short is more convenient, kids’ jacket has about 130g of down), normal inner wear, preferably a quick-dry shirt underneath.
