The new snow season in Yanbian kicks off, two locations jointly unveiling a winter ice and snow feast

On December 12, Yanbian Prefecture launched the new snow season simultaneously at Changbai Mountain Xueling Scenic Area in Antu County and Xianfeng Laolike in Helong City through a "two-location linkage" approach, jointly opening an exciting chapter for this winter's ice and snow tourism. The launch ceremony at Changbai Mountain Xueling Scenic Area in Antu County began at 10:30 AM with the theme "Snow in Changbai, Beauty in Yanbian." Here, sunlight shines and the fresh snow sparkles like a fairy tale world. The event features four themed stations: the Performance Station offers interactive ethnic song and dance flash mobs; the Warmth Station showcases intangible cultural heritage skills and provides warming delicacies; the Snow Play Station organizes public ice and snow games to ignite winter vitality; the Check-in Station includes popular photo spots and a reindeer interaction area, making it easy for visitors to capture beautiful moments. The launch ceremony at Laolike in Helong City was held at 2:00 PM with the theme "Yanbian Prefecture 2025-2026 New Snow Season and Helong City's 'Snow Realm Starry Night' Immersive Experience." Under the night sky, the snowy forest is deep and the snow houses adorned with lights are extremely romantic. The site is divided into multiple special experience zones, including a travel photography area where visitors can leave unique memories.
