The lovely town of Chamonix, in addition to the charming city where you can walk around and shop, most tourists like to visit: Le Montenvers - Mer de Glace train station is located behind Chamonix-Mont-Blanc train station. There is a beautiful bridge to cross over. It is easy to notice because there is an old locomotive on display in front. Montenvers train tickets (Montonvale) are classic trains with wooden seats and wide windows that allow you to see the view. To go down to the Ice cave, there is a small cable car that takes you down and you have to walk down about 500 steps. The walkway is easy and the floor is raised, strong and non-slip. Along the way, there are signs telling you how high the glacier used to be. This means that in the future, we will have to walk down more and more steps before we reach the ice cave. Cable car station To go up to Aiguille du Midi (Aiguille du Midi), which is the peak in the French Alps that is closest to Mont Blanc, with an elevation of 3,842 meters, it takes about 20 minutes to go up. The main attraction on Aiguille du Midi is to walk along the path and choose the cliff to see the surrounding view. Keep walking along the path, we will circle to the viewpoint on the other side, where we will see the peak of Mont Blanc up close. We walk through a tunnel called The Pipe, which is a steel pipe that goes under the mountain to the viewpoint on the other side. There will be a place to sit and rest to escape the cold. The viewpoint on top of The Pipe is the closest to the peak of Mont Blanc. When we finish looking at the view from the lower floor, we will take the elevator up to the top of Aiguille du Midi.
