🏝️Cayo Coco is a small island in Cuba, not on the main land and uninhabited. Cayo Coco is mainly for vacation⛱️, lying down, sunbathing, and taking a nap in the sea breeze is very pleasant😴. You can let go of stress and enjoy your time on this small island. 🩵The Caribbean Sea is prettier than Tiffany blue, with white, fine sand and transparent glass sea😍. The water is not deep, and you can see all kinds of tropical fish🐠 in the coral bushes while swimming. The island is basically full of hotels🏨, far away from each other, and there are sightseeing buses from time to time. 🔺Some important tips: 1. Don't exchange for Cuban pesos, US dollars and Canadian dollars are both accepted. Local banks do not accept coins, so locals will often ask you to exchange paper money for tips. Banks will exchange dollars for pesos, but not pesos! You change, you lose. 2. Tipping is up to you. $1 is enough. After leaving a tip for the room cleaning, the blanket on the bed was arranged in different patterns every day🤣. The hotel front desk will politely say they can't accept tips. 3. Locals mostly speak Spanish, and their English is not good or they don't speak it at all (of course, hotel front desk or reception staff speak English, and even French before 10 am). Everyone is very enthusiastic, and a smile can break down barriers. They really love to wink😉. 4. 🌞The sun is really strong, so buy enough sunscreen!👒 Go and enjoy the sunshine. The temperature in late February is 23–25°C, and the wind is strong. You can bring a thin coat to wear at night, and there is air conditioning in the room. 5. The internet in Cuba is not good, and there is no internet in the hotel room. The airport only allows people with local passports to connect to free Wi-Fi. - The hotel is quite nice. I stayed on the top floor (3rd floor), and all the rooms are along the coast, so you can see the sea view. - There is a bar🍹 in the hotel lobby, and the buffet has freshly fried fish fillets, all kinds of meat, pasta, and salad. I think it tastes pretty good. - 🛥️You can buy cruise activities online in advance, which is really worth it! You can swim🤿 with tropical fish and small sharks in a swimsuit, and there is lobster for dinner🦞 after watching the sunset. The bartender kept refilling the wine, and the boat was shaking, so I got dizzy after a few drinks🫨. Don't drink too much! There is a bus to and from the hotel (very punctual, don't worry).
