It is amazing that you can see so many wild animals in the mountains of South Africa.

[Joyful] Starting from Cape Town and heading east, it takes about 2 hours of self-driving to reach the treasure land where you can watch wild animals in the mountains - Aquila Private Game Reserve & Spa. The scenery along the way is super beautiful. The pristine Southern Karoo Highlands are picturesque, with rolling mountains, vines on both sides of the road, and many trees with purple flowers. It is super dreamy. [Joyful] When we arrived in Aquila, we had a welcome drink. The mountain huts here are mainly built with rocks, thatch and wood, blending in with the surrounding natural mountain scenery. The decoration in the house is mainly natural and environmentally friendly linen, and the bathroom is decorated with rocks. Some huts are also equipped with open-air rock showers. [Joyful] The one-day animal watching tour includes a dinner buffet and a breakfast buffet on the second day. The chef in the main restaurant specializes in making a variety of delicious and authentic South African food. [Joyful] There are safari activities every afternoon and the next morning, each lasting about an hour. I used to think that safaris in Africa were all on the savannah, but this time I realized that you can also see all kinds of wild animals in the mountains. It feels magical. The five largest animals in Africa are gathered here: giraffes, elephants, lions, rhinos, hippos and various zebras and antelopes. [Joyful] At night, there is a special wooden viewing platform next to the hotel's swimming pool. There is a blazing log fire in the middle. Everyone can roast the fire and watch the stars here, which is very romantic. [Joyful] Before leaving the next day, you can try Aquila's newly built African Spa, which has 2 large indoor heated swimming pools. The African drumstick massage is very interesting. It uses small wooden drumsticks and essential oils for massage, which feels very relaxing.
