Gwangandaegyo Bridge at dusk

We headed to Gwangalli Beach with great anticipation, planning to enjoy a spectacular sunset. However, the weather was not on our side, and the sky was overcast with clouds. The sea breeze was chilly, and the beach was deserted, with only a few people passing by. Gwangandaegyo Bridge stretched across the sea, adding a touch of beauty to the gray sky. Since its opening in 2003, this bridge has become a landmark in Busan due to its beautiful design. It is also a popular tourist attraction, especially for its stunning night view. Walking along the beach towards the bridge, we came across a row of warehouse-like buildings. This is Millac The Market, a famous cultural complex in Busan. It houses restaurants, cafes, and clothing stores, but the most impressive feature is the large windows and the stepped seating area, which offer a great view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge. In the evening, a light rain began to fall in Busan. The grand, ultra-modern buildings along the coast gradually lost their sharp outlines and became blurred and mysterious, blending into the sky and sea. The majestic Gwangandaegyo Bridge in the distance was also shrouded in a veil of mystery, its lines appearing and disappearing in the rain and mist, as if leading to an unknown world. As the lights came on, we returned to the beach. Although the thick clouds blocked the sunlight, and we missed the sunset and afterglow, Gwangandaegyo Bridge in the distance lit up, changing colors against the deep blue sky. It was like a scene from a classic Korean drama, where a beautiful encounter or a heartwarming moment unfolds on a beach wrapped in the gentle embrace of night and lights. This is the unique romance of Korea! As dusk fell, fireworks began to light up the night sky from a distant boat. Although not as overwhelming as a grand fireworks display, the small bursts of fireworks were like dancing elves in the night sky. Korea is indeed skilled at creating a romantic atmosphere, making it easy for people to immerse themselves in a dreamlike and unforgettable experience. On the way back, we saw a long line of paper figures playing drums on the beach. It reminded us of the Lantern Festival during the Chinese New Year. The paper figures were lifelike, performing a unique and mysterious celebration in the foreign seaside night.
