Paying respects at the City Pillar Shrine in Buriram

The City Pillar Shrine in Buriram has two pillars. It is said that the first pillar (the leaning one) was erected when the city was first established. The second pillar was likely erected when Buriram was elevated to provincial status. Additionally, next to the City Pillar Shrine, there is a Chinese shrine with a statue of the City Pillar Guardian. On the left side, there is the God of Wealth, Cai Shen, and on the right side, there is the God of War, Guan Yu, for worship and blessings.
