It is named this because the sand moves when the wind blows and sounds like music. 💬 | Experience climbing Hongorin Els Climbing the sand dunes of Hongorin Els was an experience on a different level from simple mountain climbing. At first, I walked on the sand with a light heart, but after a few steps, my feet sank deep and I realized that it would be a much harder journey than I expected. The sand swallowed my feet as if they were alive, and with every step I took, I felt like I was sliding down again. When even walking became difficult, I took off my shoes and tried barefoot at first, but soon I realized that the sand was hot. 😬 As the slope became steeper, I started to get out of breath. With every step I took, the sand under my feet slipped and pulled me down. It took twice as much strength to take a step forward, and I felt like I would slip down if I let my guard down even a little. However, the sight of the peak in the distance guided me, and I continued to move forward, cheering on the other climbers around me!!✌️ I sat down on the sand every now and then to rest. When the wind blew, the fine sand particles of the desert brushed past my skin, and I could taste the sand crunching in my mouth. However, all of these were special moments that could only be experienced in the nature of Hongo-rin Els.
