Visit Boston in Late Autumn | The Most European City in the US

Day 1️⃣ Take a train from New York to Boston in the morning, a four-and-a-half-hour journey. In the afternoon, visit Boston Public Garden and the adjacent Boston Common, which is also the starting point of the Freedom Trail. Walk the Freedom Trail, a 4-kilometer-long red brick road that connects 16 historical sites scattered throughout Boston. The road is a microcosm of American history. Quincy Market is a famous shopping destination in Boston, with large columns and a signature triangular roof. Along the way, visit Little Italy and Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. Day2️⃣ Take the subway to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, which has a rich collection of artifacts. The Chinese Pavilion houses many national treasure-level Buddhist statues. Unfortunately, I didn't see the Weng family's donation. 🎫$27. Walk to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, a private museum with over 2,500 pieces of art. The building is in the style of a Venetian palace, and the garden is beautiful and perfect for taking photos. 🎫$22 (including tax). Continue walking to the Christian Science Plaza Reflecting Pool, a very niche place. Rest on the benches and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. It's great! In the evening, the sunset over the Charles River is beautiful. Many people are running and cycling along the river, and there are small fountains and sculptures nearby. Day3️⃣ Take the subway to Cambridge to visit Harvard University. The atmosphere of this prestigious university is amazing. Many people take photos in front of the John Harvard Statue on campus. It is said that touching the statue's foot will bring good luck. You can visit the free art museum, which has a large collection of artifacts. Then take the subway to MIT. You can enter the landmark building, the Great Dome, which has a super long corridor called the Infinite Corridor. The scene in the movie "Good Will Hunting" where the math problem is solved on the blackboard in the corridor was filmed here. In the afternoon, visit the Boston Public Library. The classic Bates Hall on the second floor is gorgeous and exquisite, and the quiet study atmosphere makes visitors reluctant to disturb it. Opposite the public library is the famous Trinity Church, which has as much as 2,000 square meters of murals inside. It is very solemn and gorgeous. 🎫$10.
