Walking along Goesan Lake Trail and visiting Beopjusa Temple

🌳 The Sanmaki Lake Trail in Goesan, Chungbuk, is a restored path that follows the lake, crossing the Goesan Hydroelectric Power Plant and walking along the wooden deck trail. 🌲 As you walk along the wooden deck path surrounded by mountains and water, you feel as if you’ve become one with nature, letting go of all worries. You can take a break under the shade of pine trees or immerse yourself in endless contemplation while gazing at the lake. 🌴 Visiting Beopjusa Temple in Songnisan, Boeun, Chungbuk, is also a great idea. The forest trail leading up to Beopjusa is lush and perfect for walking. The combination of the mountain and the temple creates a stunning landscape. 🌳 You can explore the Palseongjeon and Daeungbojeon, which are designated as national treasures, and take a stroll around the temple grounds before heading back down the mountain trail. The village orchards are adorned with ripe, tempting apples. 🌲 I had a wonderful trip exploring the beautiful Chungcheong Province.
