Small but great museum with lots to see including fossils, rocks and gemstones. There are some free activity sheets and a room with books, colouring sheets and puzzles

#birminghamtrip A brilliant place to visit with quality exhibits and welcoming staff. We went on a Sunday afternoon with a two year old and a three year old and they loved the dinosaur fossils, the rock wall and the giant interactive globe. The museum is in the beautiful grounds of the University of Birmingham, parking was free and easy to find. It's free to enter but they only have a cash donations box, would be good if they had a donation card machine. There are clean toilets and a small gift shop and reading area, free parking outside. Staff are always lovely. #lapworthmuseumofgeology
