Discover the Bilbao Maritime Museum

Spain's Atlantic Coast Pilgrimage ~ Basque Country Don't miss it! Through beautifully displayed models and full-size ships from different eras, as well as dioramas, this is a great way to learn about Bilbao's history. I came here on a windy day to escape the outside world, and I ended up loving this museum. Compared to the Guggenheim, it was almost completely deserted when I visited. If you're particularly interested in sailing, the Maritime Museum is a great choice. With various models (large and small), there's plenty to see, along with various maritime stories and anecdotes.
