Beijing Forbidden Palace

If you’re planning to visit the Forbidden City during winter, make sure to dress warmly as it gets extremely cold! ✨ Tips before you go: – Wear thermal layers and windproof outerwear (the open courtyards can be freezing!) – Bring a thermos for hot drinks ☕ – Wear comfortable shoes with good grip (the marble floors can be VERY slippery) – Don’t forget lip balm & hand cream. Beijing’s winter air is incredibly dry! Jingshan Park is located right behind the palace, so don’t miss the chance to visit it as well. Be extra cautious as the stairs can be very slippery.
