Xiangshan Park, a landmark for red leaf viewing in Beijing, has its best viewing period this year from October 25 to November 15. The park's species such as smoke tree and maple leaves can reach over 80% full red coloration. Currently, the average color change index of red leaves throughout the park is about 5%. The 37th "Beijing Evening News · Xiangshan Red Leaf Festival" officially opened on October 17. The park will release red leaf color change rates through official Weibo, WeChat, and other platforms, and continue to offer a "Leaf Viewing Map," unlocking 3 to 5 best viewing spots for red or colorful leaves each week. The Badaling Great Wall features "Red Leaves Reflecting Beacon Fires" and has now entered its viewing period, with the best viewing effect lasting until the end of October. Thanks to its high altitude and large temperature differences between day and night, the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area is one of the earliest and most brilliantly colored core red leaf viewing spots in the Beijing area. Besides traditional red leaf scenic spots, Beijing's autumn colors are also rich and diverse. The Olympic Forest Park is currently hosting an autumn flower exhibition, where the pink muhly grass waves stretch like clouds and mist, making it an excellent backdrop for autumn photos. Peak visitor days are expected on October 18, 19, 25, 26, and November 1, 2. Visitors are advised to choose weekdays from Monday to Thursday for off-peak visits.
