The Serene Lake Meets the Imperial Garden: The Summer Palace

It was fascinating to find such a tranquil landscape just a little outside the bustling city of Beijing. Kunming Lake was so vast and calm that it felt as if time had come to a standstill. Walking along the Long Corridor, I could feel the breeze, admire the paintings, and immerse myself in history all at once. The photo taken from the Seventeen-Arch Bridge is one of my favorite shots from this trip! The view from the top of the Tower of Buddhist Incense still lingers vividly in my mind. It was a truly beautiful garden where traditional Chinese aesthetics and nature blended perfectly. Although there were many visitors, the spaciousness allowed for a leisurely experience.
