Spring Outing: The Sunset at Jingshan Park

The last stop before heading back turned out to be Jingshan Park. Having visited all the major attractions and with the weather being perfect, I decided to spend 2 yuan to catch the sunset alongside the Forbidden City, which I missed last time. However, the weather had warmed up in the past couple of days, and I went out in short sleeves that day. By evening, the wind made it quite chilly. Spring weather in Beijing changes rapidly, so I recommend carrying a jacket in your backpack. In March, the setting sun is no longer positioned over the Forbidden City but closer to the White Pagoda. You can alternate between the two spots for photos. For this trip back, I tried booking the free airport shuttle for international flights through Air China's app several times but was unsuccessful. In the end, I had to pay for transportation to Beijing Capital Airport. I suggest booking the free shuttle as early as possible once your itinerary is confirmed to save 50 yuan round trip. I also received a lounge voucher through Trip for the airport VIP lounge. While the food selection wasn't as abundant as Singapore Airport's, you could still enjoy instant noodles, bread, snacks, coffee, and drinks freely. I noticed some people had meal boxes, but they didn’t seem very appetizing. The red-eye flight directly to Singapore was very comfortable, and the meals were better than those on the outbound flight. 😳 Where should I go next? ☺️
