Beijing's Newest Instagram-Worthy Spot: The City Library

The newly built city library is part of the Beijing Sub-Center project. Along with the Grand Canal Museum and the Beijing Art Center, due to limited time and the need for reservations at the other two venues, I decided to visit the library. The modern architecture of this library reminds me a lot of the Social Sciences Library at National Taiwan University, leaving a strong first impression. The library has a vast collection of books and is well-managed! It's very quiet, and the modern design gives it a minimalist and bright feel. Inside, there are also facilities for listening to vinyl music and electronic searches. The restrooms are very clean and equipped with water dispensers, making the facilities quite good. However, it's not very convenient for drinks and meals, otherwise, it would be a great place to spend an afternoon reading and daydreaming!
