The Beijing City Library is really beautiful🎉 The exterior is shaped like a series of leaves, combining modernity with a sense of art, and under the blue sky and white clouds, it's indescribably beautiful☁️ The interior is also attractive, resembling a mountain of books, known as the 'Forest Academy.' Walking among them feels like entering the deep mountains of knowledge🥰 📝Full of unique features 1️⃣Strolling through the Book Mountain 🔹The staff introduced that the library's design concept is derived from the traditional Chinese cultural symbol 'Red Seal,' based on the mountain-shaped staircase reading area. 🔹The view is expansive, with many seats available, and there's always a spot to sit down just a few steps away✅ 🔹The area is huge, about 75,000 square meters, with 3 floors above ground and 1 below. 2️⃣Fully Equipped With a large collection of books and many reading seats, the areas are clearly divided ➡️Including open reading areas, youth and children's library, intangible cultural heritage library, ancient literature library, art literature library, as well as metaverse library, 24-hour library, leisure service area, cultural exchange area, etc. 3️⃣Smart Robot Coffee I experienced the smart robot coffee in the library that day, and the taste was not inferior to that of coffee shops🉑 🔹The latte art could use some improvement, simple designs are OK, but more complex ones like a swan spreading its wings, not so much, haha🤣 🔹The first cup's latte art was perfect, but the second and third cups were a flop, and the nice guy gave us those two for free🤓 🔹I always feel that this is quite real and down-to-earth, too upscale and it seems too far from us, haha! 4️⃣Surrounded by Museums When visiting the library, you can also take the opportunity to visit the nearby Beijing Art Center and Beijing Grand Canal Museum🉑 These three buildings are known as the three major cultural buildings of Beijing's city sub-center, and are definitely worth visiting🙋‍♀️ Stroll around the library, buy a coffee to sit down and take a break, read a book, I can't imagine how wonderful such a weekend would be! It's a pity that we went on a weekday, and it was a bit of a whirlwind tour, next time I will definitely take my time! PS: ✅I just visited the Shanghai Library East Area, and it was stunning! Compared to that, there are some gaps in functionality here, services need to be improved, and the facilities are not as complete. It's probably because it just opened not long ago, but I believe it will get better slowly🥰 In short, escaping the city center to relax here is really great! That's all.
